March Squads - Patterns and Sparring

Ever wanted to compete? Wanted to test yourself against others and see whether you have what it takes to be a champion? But no idea where to start? Then these are the perfect sessions for you. Under the guidance of some of our clubs best and most experienced coaches and competitors, we will walk you through the various elements that make up a Taekwon-Do tournament. These sessions will aim to sharpen your skills in the competitive arena. All four competition disciplines (patterns, sparring, special technique and power) will be covered in various squad sessions.
In House Competition
Saturday 15th March
Haywards Heath College, Harlands Rd,
RH16 1LT
Available for students in Samurai class and above
The competition will comprise of six categories Patterns, Sparring, Points Fighting, Flying High Kick, Flying Side Kick and new this time Breaking (13+).
All students will be split by height for sparring and the flying kicks (also belt levels), and belt levels for the patterns.
All junior students will receive a participation medal.
Easter Camp
April

16th and 17th Sevenoaks
Available for students 5+
Two days of Taekwondo lessons and fun activities. Start the day with a fun warm up to get those muscles working, then it’s time for some patterns practice, self defence, step sparring and pad work.
It’s not all Taekwon-Do, we have bouncy castles, assault courses, slides, and of course, the nerf gun battle zone. What more could you ask for. Come along and join in the fun at the White Tiger Summer Camp
